Open Source to save costs
Since several of my friends have been looking into develpment of a p2p client/enterprise (i won't say any more since they probably want to keep the exact nature of it a secret) I did a quick bit of snooping around and found myphone.

A no nonsense, no middle-man p2p cleint. The best part is that it is open source. So you guys would only have to modify the code for a lobby area to hook up to people, and then somehow find a way to diplay the sheets of *you know what* for both users.
The buisiness moral for the rest of my readers?
Basing your project on an existing open source application is a great way to save costs, which allows you to develop more with the same resources, since the open source application brings you halfway there. And more development, when applied correctly, can enhance user expeirience. Now all my friends need to do is to find a programmer who can code in C++ (the language myphone is in) and then massage the code into exactly what they want.....not so hard, right?
here is a detailed summary of the project...

anyway, good to post after such a long while
